- ➤ CenterPoint Energy (MISO directive) urges local customers to conserve electricity due to colder temperatures and potential shortfalls; residents and businesses are asked to lower thermostats and unplug nonessential devices, as controlled outages may be needed if conditions worsen. 14 News
- ➤ The Indiana Department of Transportation has set up live cameras at several Evansville intersections (including on snow plows) to show current road conditions. Residents can access the interactive map online to see what drivers are experiencing. Courier & Press
- ➤ Electric cooperatives are urging residents to immediately reduce electricity use as high demand and tight supply may force temporary power interruptions. Local customers are asked to turn off lights and delay running major appliances to help keep the grid stable. 44 News
