Warrick Humane Society in Newburgh is nearing the finish of its $1.4 million shelter and is now raising $135,000 for essential outdoor kennel spaces (providing weather protection for animals).
The nonprofit relies solely on private donations and fundraisers and expects the final phase to expand its animal capacity by 400.
Vanderburgh Humane Society hosted Cuddlegrams today to deliver puppy and kitten gifts with a 30-minute cuddle session (including a personalized card, roses and sweet treat) for a $100 donation, raising over $4,300.
