  • Several Evansville area high school boys advanced to the IHSAA state swimming finals after winning at sectionals on Feb. 21. The meet will be held at the Indiana University Natatorium in downtown Indianapolis on Friday, Feb. 27 (featuring individual and relay events).  Courier & Press
  • The Indiana high school boys basketball sectional draw aired Sunday on IHSAAtv.org with Kyle Neddenriep analyzing the pairings on YouTube at 9:15 p.m. Sectional play will begin March 3, with state finals scheduled for March 28 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.  Courier & Press
  • Former Purdue and NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore, a New Albany native who played for the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons, died Saturday in southern Indiana from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound as confirmed by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office with an autopsy scheduled for Sunday.  14 News
  • The Southern Indiana Triathlon Team kicked off its 2026 season on Sunday at the Deaconess Aquatic Center (welcoming athletes of all skill levels) as new and returning members began training for upcoming individual triathlons.  44 News
  • Indiana basketball faces Northwestern in a key homestand game on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, after a rough week with a combined 49-point loss against top-10 teams.  Courier & Press
