- ➤ Evansville Police Department invites residents to join Pickleball with the Police on Saturday, Apr. 25 at the C.K. Newsome Center, with three sessions available (20 players per session) and registration open until Apr. 20. 14 News
- ➤ On Monday morning, dozens of volunteers, city workers and neighbors cleaned up a mobile home community on Oak Hill Road by removing trash and unsafe structures. City officials said crews expect several more days to finish cleanup and will discuss long-term improvements for the area. 44 News
- ➤ Evansville Animal Care and Control will host its 'Killer Cuteness' adoption event (Mar. 13-14) to let potential adopters draw tags that set an adoption price or offer a free gift and ease shelter overpopulation. 44 News

- ➤ AAA reported Evansville’s gas price at $3.105 on March 9, up from $2.668 earlier this month. The increase comes as oil costs rise globally due to Middle Eastern tensions and may push prices higher. Courier & Press
