- ➤ On Tuesday, Golf Gives Back donated $200,000 from the Korn Ferry Tour Championship to Building Blocks of Southwestern Indiana to boost early childhood education across 28 counties, and officials awarded $1,000 to Shantay Blackman of Bright Village Early Learning. 14 News
- ➤ Tri-State Food Bank’s Mobile Food Distribution Program will deliver food boxes to vulnerable residents this month — stops include Memorial Baptist Church on Mar. 13 and Bosse Field on Mar. 20 in Evansville, Mt. Carmel and Albion on Mar. 25, and Carriage House Apartments on Mar. 31. 14 News
- ➤ The West Side Nut Club will host its 79th annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28 at Mater Dei High School as thousands of families join a quick event starting at 1:00 p.m. CST, with nearly 16,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes for local children. 44 News

- ➤ Bluey’s Big Play — a live theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s series featuring Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad — is coming to the Old National Events Plaza. Presale tickets are available today and tomorrow, with general tickets on sale March 13. 14 News
- ➤ Kansas and 38 Special will co-headline a concert at Beaver Dam Amphitheater on Friday, July 7 at 7 p.m. as part of the First United Bank and Trust Concert Series, with presale tickets (available Wed. 10 a.m.-Thurs. 10 p.m.) and general sales (beginning Friday). 14 News

- ➤ Youth Resources held a Teen Advisory Council recruitment night Tuesday at EVPL Central Library in the Browning Room from 6 to 7 p.m.—students in eighth through 11th grade and their parents learned about the council’s mission and upcoming programs for the 2026-27 school year. 44 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ INDOT announced a lane closure on U.S. 41 near Patoka starting on Monday, Mar. 16 for bridge construction work, and traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction until the project ends in October, weather permitting. 44 News
- ➤ Oak Hill Road from Lynch to Saint George will close around March 23 for a water line replacement project. Crews will replace over 6,000 feet of water main plus install new fire hydrants, gate valves and service connections. 14 News

- ➤ County commissioners approved bids Tuesday for Poet Square Apartments on Peck Road (near North High School). The 78-unit complex received offers from Kight Home Center at under $2 million and Niehaus Lumber at over $2 million. 14 News

- ➤ The NCAA Div. II Swimming & Diving National Championships are underway in Evansville at the Deaconess Aquatic Center, where over 460 athletes competed on Tuesday and will continue through Saturday with prelims and finals. 14 News
