- ➤ On Friday, Evansville police arrested Curtis Esters—previously sentenced to 10 years for drug dealing—for meth dealing after a controlled buy yielded hundreds of grams from a home along East Riverside Drive and arrested his wife Antrea for maintaining a common nuisance after an investigation that began in September 2024. 44 News

- ➤ On Saturday morning, the National Weather Service confirmed that three EF-2 tornadoes touched down across Gibson and Pike counties—two in Gibson County near Oakland City and west of Somerville and one in Pike County at Algiers—raising concerns for local safety. 44 News
