GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Indiana Department of Transportation warns that the westbound lane on Lloyd Expressway east of Stockwell Road will close for about 20 minutes between 7 and 9 p.m. tonight as crews remove overhead signs for the Lloyd 4U project—drivers should find an alternate route.  14 News

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Data from Realtor.com shows that in February the median listing price for homes in Vanderburgh County fell to $234,894—3.5% lower than January's $243,472, and 174 new homes were listed compared to 156 the previous year. The statistics cover only single-family homes, condos, and townhomes for sale.  Courier & Press

SPORTS NEWS

  • Indiana high school boys basketball semistate pairings will be unveiled at 3 p.m. Sunday on IHSAAtv.org—teams that finished regional finals Saturday will learn their matchups. Next Saturday, semistate games will require teams to win two games in one day to move on to state finals—host sites have been set by region.  Courier & Press
  • USI women's basketball earned a postseason bid by returning to the WNIT for a second consecutive season after finishing the winter with a record of 22 to 12 and as the fifth seed in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament in Evansville—bracket details and Round 1 game times from March 20 to 22 will be announced Monday as the team nears full NCAA eligibility next season.  Courier & Press
