CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Evansville police arrested 30-year-old Zachary McCallister (from Boonville) after he allegedly forced a victim at gunpoint to perform sexual acts over a month while children were present in the home, and he is held without bond. 44 News
- ➤ Officers responded to shots fired on the 2800 block of Lodge Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday after a caller reported being robbed and shot at, and another victim was found asking for help — several people were hospitalized and no arrests have been made as the investigation continues. 44 News
- ➤ Police say 34-year-old Max Pea rode his bike on the wrong side of the road through a stop sign at West Missouri Street and North Third Avenue and then fled down an alley after officers tried to stop him—he held a car door to block officers, fell during his escape, admitted to biting a bag containing 2 grams of meth rocks, and now faces charges for resisting law enforcement, obstruction of justice, confinement, and possession of meth, marijuana, and narcotics. 14 News
