- ➤ Easterseals launched Connect, a small-group program for adults with disabilities, at Crossroads Christian Church (in Newburgh) on Monday. Church leaders renovated a space to support 8-12 participants with personalized care. 14 News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Country artist Ty Myers will perform live at Ford Center on Oct. 23 during his Legal Tour — special guests Lanie Gardner and Benny G will join him. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at the Ford Center Ticket Office. 44 News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Work has begun on a $150K grant supported by Toyota & the NEEF to expand outdoor learning at USI. The project will add a new learning pavilion, trail extension with a footbridge, and educational kits along the USI-Burdette Park Trail and nature preserve, with a kickoff event planned for Fall. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Vanderburgh County households will drop off hazardous waste from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday at the former Roberts Stadium parking lot, sponsored by the Solid Waste Management District. Officials said the event is for household items only. 14 News

- ➤ The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission begins the second phase of its energy affordability discussion by inviting ratepayers, including Evansville residents, to a listening session on Tuesday, April 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Old National Events Plaza, as short-term measures are planned by summer. 14 News
- ➤ Today, the Evansville Fire Department honored Instructor Steve Jordan as Firefighter of the Year at their annual ceremony. He has served since 1996 and trained over 100 firefighters (showing strong leadership and mentorship). 14 News
- ➤ All lanes of Riverside Drive are open today along the riverfront after a sinkhole forced a year-long closure. Crews repaired the road after heavy rain damaged it over the past year. 14 News
