- ➤ Big Brothers Big Sisters invites families to join its annual 'Bowl for Kids' Sake event—featuring an 80's Rock Edition—that will take place at Franklin Lanes on May 14th, at Showplace Family Entertainment Center on May 15th and 16th, and at Posey Lanes on May 17th. Participants may form teams to raise a minimum of $500 or donate to help reach a $100,000 goal to support one-to-one mentoring programs in the community. 44 News

- ➤ Authorities arrested Bishop, Rhodes and Gray on fentanyl dealing charges after a Tuesday drug bust on East Louisiana Street led investigators to stop a speeding vehicle on Highway 41 (prompting a search warrant) that uncovered a home search yielding 17.65 grams (17.65 g) of fentanyl, guns and other items while swab tests on the men's hands showed the drug. 44 News
- ➤ The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office identified 19-year-old Dalton Collins as the victim of the deadly Lodge Avenue shooting who died at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital—16-year-old suspect Isam Clark now faces murder, updated attempted murder, and two robbery charges causing serious bodily injury as the autopsy is pending and the investigation continues. 14 News
- ➤ Evansville police reported Tuesday that they responded to a call on the 1300 block of Mary Street after a resident had been away for several days, leaving multiple animals without proper care and prompting animal control to respond. 14 News
- ➤ Evansville Police said Jamel Shuler punched, kicked and threatened to kill officers during a Tuesday arrest after he allegedly stole a car parked near St. Joe and Columbia Street—he is now held without bond. 14 News

- ➤ Evansville Police and Indiana State Police will enforce a campaign against distracted and speeding drivers from April 5 to April 19—officials say more than 17,000 crashes and 230 deaths statewide show the law’s need. Offenders may face fines up to $500 for violating the hands-free law passed in 2020. WEHT
