- ➤ Brent and Kathy Weatherwax, owners of Pappa Bear’s Catering, acquired the historic Nisbet Inn near Haubstadt and will offer dine-in and catering services with their signature ribs, smoked chicken and sides. They will also open a new location on Weinbach Avenue in Evansville this summer while preserving the landmark’s country atmosphere. 44 News

- ➤ The Holiday Drive-In will open for the summer season on May 1 with an opening weekend lasting through May 3, and the movie schedule + showtimes will be released closer to the opening day. 44 News
