- ➤ The Presidents Neighborhood Association is planning a pocket park (located between Highway 41, Washington Avenue, Weinbach Avenue, and Covert Avenue) to offer play space and events for over 2,200 residents who lack nearby green areas. The project will fill a local need if approved. 44 News

- ➤ CenterPoint Energy officials said their electric system in southwestern Indiana had fewer outages and shorter outage times in 2025, and the company now is poised to deliver reliable service ahead of the upcoming storm season — a goal measured by industry-standard benchmarks. 14 News
