- ➤ Organizers of the 2025 Honor Flight seek student volunteers from sixth through twelfth grade to escort veterans in the EVV18 Welcome Home Parade at the Evansville Regional Airport—parental approval is required. - ➤ Demolition began Monday at the former Sauced restaurant in the Haynie's Corner Arts District after a fire broke out on Christmas Day—an electrical problem in a connected apartment sparked the blaze and led officials to approve the demolition earlier this month. 44 News
- ➤ The building that held Sauced is being torn down after an accidental electrical fire broke out in a second story apartment at the Haynie’s Corner restaurant on Christmas Day—fire crews took more than an hour to put the flames out. 14 News

- ➤ Coach Nate Hawkins stepped down as Heritage Hills boys basketball coach after nine seasons—finishing with 160 wins and two sectional championships. He said he decided it was time for a change to focus more on his family and let someone else lead the program. Courier & Press
- ➤ Bo Burkhart, a Bosse High School graduate, is expected to be named Washington High School's new boys basketball coach at Tuesday's school board meeting. He will replace longtime coach Gene Miiller, who retired in March after a 50-year career (311 wins and three state championships). Courier & Press
- ➤ Evansville hosted 33 college basketball games in March during four championship tournaments at the Ford Center, which brought an estimated $1.4 million boost to the local economy and nearly 4,000 hotel nights.
