- ➤ The Hadi Shrine Half Pot in Evansville reached $100,000 with just 16 days left before the drawing, officials said. Tickets can be purchased through May 4 and the drawing will be held on May 5 at 10 a.m.—ticket booths will be closed on Easter Sunday. 14 News
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A medical emergency caused two drivers to collide head on at Pollack and Vann Avenue in Evansville around 3:10 p.m. Saturday—one driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. WEHT
- ➤ At around 5:24 p.m. Saturday, a truck crashed into the German Township Fire Department Headquarters in Vanderburgh County—crews pulled the driver from the truck with no injuries reported and the department said calls would not be delayed. WEHT

- ➤ An Evansville man—48-year-old Craig Barnett—threatened a woman with a knife and jumped from a second-floor balcony on the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue just after midnight on Friday; officers say he sustained injuries during the jump and is now in custody facing charges including robbery and domestic battery.
