- ➤ A groundbreaking ceremony will mark the start of turning the 60-acre former Eagle Valley Golf Course into the McCutchanville Greenway Park and Nature Preserve at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 10350 Petersburg Road. The nonprofit (sponsorships sought) said the project will add walking trails and community spaces. Courier & Press
- ➤ On Evansville’s east side, concerned residents rescued ducklings that fell into a storm grate near Maxwell Ave today. A Culver’s worker and bystanders used a ladder+bread to guide all the ducklings back to their mother before she crossed the drive-thru. 14 News

- ➤ Evansville Toys and Games will reopen on Saturday, May 2 in a new (15,000 sqft) building at the old Dean Boslers Furniture Showroom on Morgan Avenue, where most of its collection has been moved. 14 News
