- ➤ Volunteer Suzanne Selby received the Exceptional Volunteer Award at Ascension St. Vincent after dedicating over 500 hours as a NICU baby cuddler — she also served in patient care programs and the COVID clinic, beginning during the pandemic. 14 News

- ➤ Students visited Heritage Artisan Days today in New Harmony and learned about 19th century crafts—blacksmithing, weaving and fur trading—through hands-on demonstrations hosted by USI and Historic New Harmony, with visitors able to attend tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 14 News

- ➤ Indiana has approved a new specialty license plate that donates $25 per registration to Meals on Wheels to help feed homebound individuals; the program is part of a group of five new plates announced today to fund local meal services. Courier & Press
- ➤ Eastbound I-64 over the Wabash River closes Monday, Apr. 27 at 7 p.m. for routine inspection and minor work near Grayville at the Illinois-Indiana state line; detours (around the work zone) may cause delays for drivers. 44 News
