- ➤ The Evansville Fire Department said an apartment fire at the 2600 block of Sterling Drive displaced ten people as eight apartments were evacuated and two sustained severe damage—no firefighter injuries were reported. WEHT

- ➤ A high-profile murder suspect 28-year-old Samuel Huggler returned from Europe and was booked into Vanderburgh County Jail on Monday evening on charges including four counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder linked to a deadly shooting on Kirkwood Drive in 2021. 14 News
- ➤ Officers arrested 21-year-old Trinity Kissel for reckless driving after she drove 85 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour work zone on the Lloyd Expressway between Boeke Road and Stockwell Road on Sunday (the arrest occurred during a speed enforcement). 44 News

- ➤ The Department of Natural Resources Division of Historic Preservation — Archaeology announced the winners of its annual Historic Preservation Month photo contest, with Michael J. - ➤ Evansville water officials said that crews resumed work on the Riverside Drive sinkhole near Chestnut Street after river levels dropped—ending a pause caused by flooding.
