An Indiana-based company is recalling four-count vine ripe tomatoes sold through Gordon Food Service Stores in 11 states after a Florida supplier alerted Ray & Mascari Inc. to potential salmonella contamination—no illnesses have been reported, and customers are advised to discard any purchased products.

Some packages of four-count vine-ripe tomatoes sold at Gordon Food Service stores were recalled after the FDA reported they may carry salmonella.

Ray and Mascari Inc. recalled the products after repackaging tomatoes from Hanshaw & Capling Farms in Florida (lot numbers RM250424 15250B and RM250427 15250B), and customers are told to throw them away.
