- ➤ Teen Outback, a youth group that has served Huntingburg for 27 years, now faces trouble as a school board member wants to tear down its building—owned by the school corporation—to free up parking near the Memorial Gym; the nonprofit raised funds to fix its roof and now asks locals to support its future as the school board makes a decision. 14 News
- ➤ Teen Outback, also known as the Huntingburg Teenage Canteen, has served local youth for 27 years but now faces an uncertain future because its board is ready to replace the roof in 2025 only if the Southwest Dubois County School Board gives written approval—one board member has reportedly shown interest in demolishing the building for parking near Huntingburg Memorial Gymnasium. Local residents are urged to contact school officials to help keep this facility operating for community programs. 44 News

- ➤ Fire crews responded to a house fire on East Michigan Street after a call came in around 5:30 and quickly put it out, authorities said. 44 News

- ➤ An Evansville man, 41-year-old Anthony Barnett, was arrested just before 4 p.m. Saturday after he tried to break into a home on North Third Avenue and resisted officers by shouting 'You do it! It's your job' while fighting police, causing one officer to suffer minor injuries+ he now faces multiple charges+ including battery, trespass, and resisting arrest. 14 News
- ➤ Evansville police arrested 65 year old Craig Keeling — who was seen walking naked in a park and touching himself at 3:15 p.m. Saturday — and he was taken to jail. 14 News

- ➤ Sheriff Noah Robinson said he and Police Chief Phil Smith will conduct a child support writ roundup on June 15 to urge residents to resolve unpaid support & avoid arrest as the sheriff’s website now allows filtering for these specific warrants. Courier & Press
