- ➤ An Evansville man faces multiple charges after a deputy pulled him over on New Harmony Road Monday night for not wearing a seat belt, and a search of his car revealed a lunch box with a case containing a hypodermic syringe, white powder and a metal scoop that tested positive for fentanyl and heroin. 14 News
- ➤ On Tuesday, Evansville saw the second trial for murder suspect Jason Horne continue as the state presented evidence of the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Jennifer Gorecki—court records show the jury is seated and discovery materials were turned over. 14 News

- ➤ Mayor Terry delivered her second State of the City address on Tuesday, saying the city met its target with 350 affordable housing units in progress and set a new goal of 2,000 units by her term's end—she also outlined plans to demolish 26 of 132 blighted structures, build a new fire station on the East Side, and boost parks, public safety, and local jobs while facing a $20 million federal grant termination. She added that future steps will enhance neighborhoods and improve city services. 44 News
