- ➤ Local organizations, including the J.D. Sheth Foundation and Evansville Police Foundation, provided a customized truck for Officer Sam Taylor — injured on duty last September — that adapts to his physical needs and hobbies. 14 News

- ➤ Four Silver Aces dancers were among 36 performers chosen nationwide for America’s 250th National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C. They will perform on Constitution Avenue from July 2 to 5 to showcase Evansville’s talent. 44 News
- ➤ YWCA Evansville is hosting its 22nd Annual Women’s Equality Day Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature a presentation by Stepping Up Evansville & a keynote speech by Dr. Chelsey R. Carter. 14 News
