- ➤ The Evansville Police Department is asking the community to help find 16-year-old Bailliey Fowler, who went missing on June 7 and is described as 5 ft tall+120 lbs with brown hair and eyes; anyone with information should call 812-746-4850. WEHT
- ➤ The Vanderburgh County Coroner released the name of the three year old Jayvinvontae Keion-Ray Carter—he shot himself after finding a gun that his father, 30-year-old Jovontae Carter, had kept under the couch cushions and was later arrested on neglect charges. 14 News
- ➤ Evansville Police arrested 28-year-old Mason Stone—who wore a security shirt and tactical vest despite not working for Tiki on Main—after he threatened bar patrons by pointing a gun and taser at them around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday and later found additional weapons, magazines, and ammo in his home and vehicle. 44 News

- ➤ Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and University of Evansville broke ground on the new Innovation Center for Science and Health on Monday at 421 Chestnut Street; the center will expand learning for Academy of Science and Medicine students by linking high school and college programs — construction begins immediately and the facility is expected to open in 2026. 44 News

- ➤ Officials said that nearly 1.7 million dozen eggs were recalled on June 6 after a salmonella outbreak led to 79 hospitalizations. Walmart sold the eggs at multiple locations in Evansville and eight other states — anyone who bought them should throw the eggs away or return them to the store. Courier & Press

- ➤ North won its ninth straight boys golf sectional title on June 9 when senior Brody Sorrell shot a 67 on the back nine to lead the Huskies to a two-shot win over Castle — his strong round helped overcome a six-shot deficit until the final holes.
