- ➤ Evansville police arrested Tracy Kornicky and Richard Miller on drug charges after a tip led them to investigate meth sales from an apartment on South Lincoln Park Drive—Miller was stopped while walking his dog and Kornicky, who used a fake name and had a felony warrant, was found with meth. 44 News
- ➤ Evansville Police arrested a man aged 31 on Monday afternoon after officers found heroin and syringes when he trespassed at Ingle Terrace apartments—he was booked into Vanderburgh County Jail on drug and trespassing charges. 44 News
- ➤ A Henderson County sheriff’s deputy fatally shot 64-year-old Charles Powell Jr. of Corydon on Monday evening when he allegedly refused to drop his machete and advanced at the officer—Powell died while being transported to a hospital and state police are investigating the incident.
