- ➤ An Evansville man, Deriontai Mathis, 31, pleaded guilty to trafficking fentanyl after investigators found over 10,000 counterfeit pills hidden in a toy car along with $56,800 in cash and 12 guns in his home in 2022—he was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison and will serve five years of supervised release. - ➤ Evansville police arrested Jessica Houseman after she allegedly injured a man during a dispute over a walker at the METS bus terminal and threatened officers, and she now faces felony charges while being held without bond. 44 News
