- ➤ North River Health Campus hosted its annual back to school bash in northern Evansville, offering games, music—bouncy castles and rides on a fire truck—and CPR demonstrations by local fire departments while handing out school supplies to families in need. - ➤ Warrick County fire crews are at the Warrick Education Center fighting a two alarm fire that started Saturday after 12:30 p.m.—the building serves as an alternative high school and offers high school equivalency classes. 14 News
- ➤ Fire crews have battled a major blaze at Warrick Education Center since 1 p.m. today—seven fire trucks and teams from Ohio Township, Yankee Town, Vanderburgh County, and McCutchanville responded—and officials say the building lost big parts of its roof—large sections burned off despite heavy rain. 44 News

- ➤ Evansville deputies executed a search warrant on the 5400-block of Elmhurst Drive yesterday, detaining five people and arresting three suspects—Joseph Walker Jr., William Haggard and Dianna Caldwell—for charges related to narcotics offenses and resisting law enforcement after a basement struggle left a deputy injured.
