- ➤ Crews worked at the 4-H Fairgrounds on July 19 to prepare for the upcoming Vanderburgh County Fair — kids set up over 70 projects and the fair will include rides, food booths, pageants, animal shows, magic shows and concerts. WEHT
- ➤ Central Texas floods over the Fourth of July weekend claimed 134 lives, including children at a summer camp. Kyle Duckworth of 4 Good Community in Henderson said his nonprofit will send daily resource outreaches to Kerrville with clothing, cleaning supplies and comfort items—aiming to support families affected by the tragedy. - ➤ Culver’s will open nearly two dozen restaurants in 11 states later this year — including one on N. Union Street in Evansville — as it builds on its 1,000 existing locations. - ➤ Evansville Police are still searching for a suspect who led two chases early Saturday morning—authorities say the driver sped off, ran red lights and ignored turn signals while charges for felony resisting, reckless driving and other traffic violations are being filed. 14 News
