Maintenance has ordered parts and expects the lift to be fixed tomorrow — letting residents safely leave their apartments — and restore their mobility. 14 News

- ➤ Evansville Police are searching for an elderly white female suspect who allegedly used a victim’s birthdate, Social Security number, and passport to withdraw $16,000 from one bank and attempted to withdraw cash at another—she was last seen wearing a blue and white flower dress, glasses, with gray hair that may be a wig, swollen legs, and a cane. 14 News
- ➤ Authorities investigated an arson after a garage fire at a Henning Avenue property near Monroe early Sunday morning — security footage showed a short, stocky male with a buzzed haircut fleeing on an electric motor scooter — and the fire was contained with no injuries reported. 44 News
- ➤ Evansville Police are investigating an arson after surveillance footage showed a man dumping a liquid along a garage and setting it on fire on the 1300 block of Henning Avenue just before 1 a.m. on Sunday as fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze and a witness said the suspect, seen daily in the area, remains at large (no arrests yet).
