- ➤ Three individuals were arrested for DUI after an overnight checkpoint by the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office ran from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. on North Saint Joseph Avenue and Buchanan Road—law enforcement also stopped 96 vehicles and issued five traffic infractions, seven warnings, and one misdemeanor citation. 44 News
- ➤ Authorities booked Craig Anthony Bryan from Steamwood on Thursday on charges of rape, intimidation, theft, and organized theft after a woman reported that he raped her at an Evansville hotel, threatened to kill her and her children, and planned to steal heavy equipment—actions that led to an investigation which halted a multi-state theft plot. - ➤ Evansville Police say on Thursday night at 8:45 p.m. a man was stabbed outside McDonald's on Bartlett Avenue when he confronted a stranger following him and a woman—authorities report his injuries are non-life threatening and the suspect remains at large. 14 News
