- ➤ On August 4 at 7:48 p.m., a Buick Lacrosse failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of State Road 68 and County Road 250 East near Haubstadt and crashed into a White Freightliner Semi truck—killing one person as investigators work to identify the victim and complete testing on the semi-truck driver. 44 News
- ➤ One person died when a car ran a stop sign and was hit by a semi on August 5 at 8 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 68 and County Road 250 East in Gibson County. 14 News

- ➤ Evansville police are investigating gunfire that damaged homes and properties on Bayard Park Drive and Lincoln Avenue Monday night around 8:30 p.m.—another property reported damage just after 9 p.m., and the investigation continues. 44 News
