- ➤ Evansville Regional Airport announced Allegiant Air will expand its service to three Orlando/Sanford flights a week in October—adding Saturday flights—and additional Saturday departures will run in September and November to offer nonstop, low-cost travel. 44 News

- ➤ Willard Public Library will host the Better Books Sale from September 2 to 7 and offer rare books, antiques, yearbooks, and collectibles — the event will feature regular pricing on the first two days, a half-price discount on September 4, and a bag sale from September 5 to 7 with payments by cash, check or card with a $5 minimum. 44 News
