- ➤ The Warrick County Humane Society reopened after a fire at the PBTT building forced animal relocation — a volunteer placed gravel to help restore normal operations. Adoption hours are Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., and the remaining dogs will return over the next two days. 44 News

- ➤ Today, Jacobsville residents gain a new transit option as Mayor Stephanie Terry announced the METS Micro program will expand into the neighborhood using a grant from Deaconess Health System. The expanded service will add 0.4 square miles and 800 residents to a network that now covers 20.5 square miles and serves 66,900 people—reaching key city locations. Courier & Press

- ➤ In August, Vanderburgh County home listings asked for less money— the median listing price dropped 5.7% to $249,900 from $264,919 last month and increased 20.2% from August last year. Listings moved quickly with a median of 49 days on the market as 296 new homes were added for sale. Courier & Press
