- ➤ The Downtown Evansville Improvement District is hosting the sixth annual Dog Day Downtown on October 18th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street, and the event—presented by German American Bank—will feature dog activities including an agility course, free treats, pet costume contest, and more from local nonprofits and vendors with hundreds of dog lovers expected to attend. 44 News
