- ➤ Mayor Stephanie Terry and the Tri-State Food Bank received a $1,000 check from the Pearls of Distinction Foundation, Inc to help battle food insecurity amid SNAP benefit concerns. The donation will be used to create thousands of meals—each dollar turning into six meals as part of ongoing efforts to support local families. 14 News
- ➤ Tri-State Food Bank is helping families in need during the government shutdown by distributing food to local SNAP recipients and will host a drive-up giveaway at House of Como at 9 a.m. today—providing vital support amid reduced benefits. 14 News
- ➤ Mickey's Kingdom Playground along the Evansville riverfront will reopen Saturday morning after maintenance work that included resurfacing—local officials shared before and after photos of the repairs. 44 News
