- ➤ Evansville Goodwill unveiled The Helms Hall at its Washington Square Mall campus, where community members gathered to see the new event venue. The space can be booked for weddings, corporate functions, and community events—helping support its mission and programs. 14 News
- ➤ CenterPoint Energy held its fourth Community Connect event today at the CK Newsome Center from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The event allowed CenterPoint representatives and local groups to share details on energy efficiency, affordability and emergency preparedness. 14 News
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile visited Evansville’s West Side on Nov. 13th at Schnucks—local guests toured the vehicle and took photos as hotdoggers handed out wiener whistles. The vehicle will now head north to Chicago as part of its marketing tour. Courier & Press

- ➤ Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol is a musical—featuring songs by Grammy winner Dolly Parton—that will debut in Owensboro. The event will take place this Saturday at 7 p.m. at RiverPark Center. 14 News
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis visited Evansville for the Economic Impact and Policy Forum to explain monetary policy and his outlook on the U.S. economy. Local leaders said his talk provided clear insights into economic trends that affect our region — information that will guide future decisions. 14 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office revealed a new Therapeutic Work Release Litter Patrol van that will use inmates on work release to pick up litter in the community. Sheriff Noah Robinson said the van is part of the Clean Streets Initiative to address complaints from local business owners. 14 News
- ➤ Even though the government shutdown ended, many families in the Tri-State still received only about 65% of the SNAP benefits they usually get, leaving over 9,000 households in Vanderburgh with reduced food assistance. Lisa Vaughan of Feed Evansville and Zac Heronemus of Tri-State Food Bank say local food organizations are working to stock up for holiday needs—though officials remain unsure when full benefits will resume. 14 News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Evansville Regional Sports Commission is hosting the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Cross Country Regional today at Angel Mounds—marking the final competition ever held there—as top teams including Indiana University, Purdue and Michigan State compete with women's and men's races starting at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to qualify for the NCAA National Championships. 44 News
