- ➤ Boy Scout Troop 399 has sold Christmas trees for nearly 70 years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Thanksgiving Weekend as its busiest time, as families return to relive memories and support the troop. The scouts learn sales skills and bond with friends while raising funds for next year's activities—continuing a cherished local tradition. 14 News
- ➤ Today in Evansville, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. with hot chocolate, live performances, and pictures with Santa, and the tree is lit at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Stephanie Terry urged downtown shoppers to support Small Business Saturday + join the festive event. 14 News

The expansion follows a fire that destroyed $200,000 in inventory five years ago and was aided by a community GoFundMe, and the new building is expected to open in 4 to 5 months. 14 News
