The American Red Cross is asking Evansville residents to volunteer for disaster response after helping in over 200 emergencies such as floods, tornadoes, and home fires.

Volunteers are needed to provide shelter, meals, and comfort during the holiday season when home fire incidents rise nearly 20% + the group stressed that community support is essential.

SWIRDA unveiled its first Regional Arts and Culture Strategic Plan to boost quality of place and strengthen the regional arts economy across the Tri-State through centralized marketing, expanded public art, live performance projects and sustainable funding efforts.
