- ➤ The river bridge on Illinois Highway 15 closed following a train incident on the Illinois side and is expected to remain closed for at least four hours (according to the Gibson County Sheriff's Office) as deputies direct traffic and advise drivers to use alternate routes. 44 News

- ➤ Kwanzaa celebrations are underway in the Tri-State area, starting Friday at the Evansville African American Museum with a focus on unity, continuing Saturday at New Hope Church for self-determination, and today at 2 p.m. at the C.K.
