Anthropology Speaker Series with Lisa Kelley

About this event

Kelley will present an anthropological journey through archaeological sites she has helped record throughout the Plains, Midwestern and Southern United States. The sites have all been documented as part of Cultural Resource Management (CRM) projects, the process of which will be briefly outlined with real-world examples. The sites show the value of the CRM process, particularly documenting the experiences, adaptations and choices of everyday people represented by sites forgotten or those often overlooked as having little to no research value. The talk will span multiple states with a research focus on our own backyard of Indiana and Evansville.
