- ➤ The 9th Annual Lincolnshire Front Porch Fest will be held Sunday near Willow Avenue and Bayard Park Drive from 2 to 7 p.m.—over 20 local bands will play while food trucks and the Bokeh Bar Cart serve drinks to those 21 and older, with free parking at Bosse High School and St. Benedict Cathedral. 44 News

- ➤ AT&T and Human-I-T provided 100 refurbished laptops and backpacks with school supplies to Ivy Tech Community College students in Evansville to help close the digital divide—this donation is part of a larger nationwide effort to equip 30,000 students for the new school year. 44 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Monday, October 6, INDOT will close State Road 68 near Haubstadt in Gibson County for a small structure replacement that will take two weeks—drivers should use the detour via U.S. 41 to I-64 to I-69 and drive slowly in work zones. 44 News
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Memorial football stayed undefeated with a 28 to 7 win at Reitz Friday night as the defense made 15 takeaways—one of which was a 65-yard pick-six—and set the stage for more wins.
